Dp want to thank every one who came to race today It was great to see many old friends and faces and many new ones
thanks for all the volunteers who helped in every dept
all went very smooth just a few small glitches that we plan to fix for next event ( a new PA system)
this kids seem faster than before and really cool to see the dads out there racing on the big track
I have suggested that on sunday at 2:00 that we do heat races for all riders on the sx track for fun
also some heat races for the kids to practice starts and get the feel of competetion
we are looking forward to next month 3rd sunday
we will also offer to rent the kids race style atvs 90cc for next months race for the morning event $35 for the race
also some kids bikes will be avaialble
if you need a bike just for the race let me know

The races were definately a blast to watch and be part of (not race in). I must say that the Pee-Wee track and SX track were in the best condition I have seen
in YEARS. Great work DP for all that was done getting things ready. Charles Stewart was the race coordinator and I can sya he did a fine job on things. From
the classes to the number of laps, all seemed to go well. I was surprised there were no accidents on either track for the races. Those adults and kids were
tearing it up out there. I really love watching the kids transition from the Pee-Wee MX to the adult SX and clear the triple that over half the adults
didn't attempt. That was something to see from my vantage point as a flagger.
Mike or Pete or anyone that knows... How long is the triple on the SX track ??? Props to Lindo for changing the design and refacing the SX track. Truly a sweeeeet looking track that had my mouth watering all day. I may just have to come out of the closet next time we are there and try my hand on a few of those jumps  ........

Thanks for putting on such great events!!! Thanks to all who put their time in to make this place so AWESOME!!! My son raced the ATV mini race and took 2nd place he still has not stop talking about it !! He had a blast and can't wait for next month! Thanks again Quadinfamily |

First of all, thanks for an absolute blast last weekend! Both of my boys, Brandon and Hayden, ran in the 50cc class on the Pee Wee track and had a blast. We race nearly every weekend somewhere in the Carolina's and I have to say ya'll ran a great race and prep'd an unbelievable track considering all that rain on Saturday. If I could make one suggestion for next time- The difference between the 50cc JR bikes that are designed for 4 to 6 year olds and the 50cc SR bikes that are designed for 7 to 9 year olds is like comparing a 250 to a 450. I know the 50cc 2-stroke would make you think these bikes would be close, but the carb and pipe difference is huge. I know you were surprised by the huge turnout on Sunday, but hopefully that turnout will be consistent or bigger. If so, please consider making this two classes. You can still run all the bikes at the same time, just classify them separately so the little guys have a shot. |
