we groomed the peewee track today and adjusted some berms to line up better with the jumps they had gotten wider over time that track in perfect now with the moisture and mulch
we worked the big track some today
we finished grooming the swamp track this morning with the rain over last 2 days it worked up really well it is sweet today and tomorrow
we will build the new training track in the old parking lot tomorrow we have lessons scheduled on it for thursday afternoon
we have 3 guys running equipment this week trying to catch up
we also began grooming MX #6 ( 2nd half of mx #5 that has been closed) we hope to open it in a week or so
we are like ants out here moving dirt every where you go
we are running maximum crew all week with the precious water we got this weekend
I got to take Kyle and Chase fishing yesterday late over to the 27 acre lake caught about 20 in 45 minutes in our private hole behind the dam made me want to go trout fishing real soon
saw lots of ducks over there on the lake
also A bear was sighted on the 250 ac track over there sunday he was destroying a freshly planted garden and some grape vines we do not see those very often down here
we also had the power company out here today laying out for the new bathrooms and concession stand for the peewee track we may also put some lighting in the new parking area for the short winter days also plan to put in a P>A> systen for the peewee track
today we ordered a huge shipment of new videos for the proshop also the new BUBBA STEWART video will be here
this weekend
we will be rotating many of the rentals over the next few weeks see the for sale section for the deals
we also will have a new line of the rail buggies arriving in a few weeks for the rental fleet and for sales we have been testing a new brand for 2 months we will have some deals on them as well
tomorrow we will also begin building approx 15 new shoothouses (deer stands) for the up coming season we are constructing larger stands for 2-3 people to sit in together we now have alot of PARENT / CHILD hunting trips with the new members we are moving towards DP being more of family hunting trips and will have 2 guides in house to help with all hunters last week we began clearing 10 new food plots some will be used for hunting and some will be used for just viewing wildlife we will have a NO SHOOTING area this year for anyone wanting to just go and watch and take photographs we will spend more this year than ever before on improving the hunting here at DP
we buried a dozer in the river last week making some duck habitat Jeremy got too close and it fell in blade first Bens BIG monster truck with the huge winch got it out with 2 other machines
