When I do a top end rebuild do I have to do something (i.e. hone, bore or resurface) the cylinder walls? I was reading on line and only one guy mentioned this. He said something about seating the rings?

Also, anyone know how much and how long to have DP do this for me. I already have all of the parts.

On the underside, it reads 1999-2002 years. There is a number inked on it that reads 160125. It is not a gripper seat.

Looks like Suzuki to me. Can't really tell though.

Something about high maintenance, Which one cost more to maintain.?
